Sites I like
A way with words
Not a day goes by when I don't marvel at someone else's creative genius. Photography, writing, painting - I can do it, but there are a lot of people around who do it better. Today, I are mostly been admirin' this... "So powerful is the impulse to level all available playing fields that you end up sounding like a reactionary old fart for suggesting that hacking away at someone's body for televised entertainment may not be the most ennobling pastime the human race has devised."

Chavvy? Moi?
According to the ramblings of Julie Burchill last night on Sky One, I must be a chav. Living in a council house until the age of 12, coming from a 'working class' family, wearing inexpensive jewellery and liking to have a bit of fun seem to include me, despite the lack of Burberry, gold chains and fags. She mentioned in the programme that she is proud to be a chav, and also reckoned that people taking the piss out of people below themselves amounted to bullying... so is she calling herself a chav so that she then has free reign in her articles over who she slags off?

Busy, busy, busy
I feel I've reached the end of an era with this site but am not sure where to go from here. It's probably just because I haven't had time for it recently, so the ideas may flow once more as soon as I settle back into a routine, but all I can offer by way of entertainment at the moment is a small selection of snaps from our two weeks in Hong Kong, and the promise of photos from Sevitz's 30th bash this coming weekend. My computer* is broken so this won't be a photoblog for a while though, I'm afraid. I hope you can survive until the next gallery update. More will follow in due course.
* aka the one of Topper's computers that I use most often.
