Commuters #12-65

The entrance to the station was packed full, and it was difficult to get in or out. I thought that there were perhaps severe delays to the service, or cancellations, because why else would so many people be just... lingering? The confused look on every single face didn't reassure me at all, but I attempted to squeeze through a gap anyway, to see what the problem was. Turned out that every single person was queuing to buy a ticket. All of a sudden the announcements that boom out every Friday morning, telling people they can renew their season ticket from Friday afternoon, actually made sense. Not that any of these people paid attention to them, it seems.

On the train, a man watched a downloaded television programme on his pocket gadget. The headphones in his ears prevented the man stood behind him from really undertstanding what was happening but, nevertheless, he was still unable to stop glancing at the screen.
